Adoption Information

Potential adopters are required to fill out an application. Personal and veterinary references are checked by staff members. Applicants must call the shelter after 12 noon on the following day to check the status of the application. Processing time varies according to reference checks and surgery schedule.

After approval, the adopter will sign a contract stating that they will meet certain standards.

Brothers Curly and Moe came to the shelter as kittens in May '07. Moe was recently adopted. Curly is still waiting for a new home, but is often overlooked because he has a weepy eye as a result of an eye infection when he was a baby. He is such a sweet fella and has so much to offer to the person that is willing to take him home. Meet him during our adoption hours noon-4:30.
