Volunteer!
If you've got the time, we've got productive ways to spend it!

Walk one of our Dogs, get some exercise and make a new friend at the same time! Our cats are always in need of attention and affection too! For those that prefer to volunteer in other ways, we've also got opportunities to participate in HSLC events, opportunities for young people and filing and other clerical tasks.

For more information on volunteering please contact Gwen Stewart- Adult and Youth Volunteer Coordinator
either by phone or e-mail

E-mail; HSLC_VolunteerCoordinator@comcast.net

Our Featured Pet!

Brothers Curly and Moe came to the shelter as kittens in May '07. Moe was recently adopted. Curly is still waiting for a new home, but is often overlooked because he has a weepy eye as a result of an eye infection when he was a baby. He is such a sweet fella and has so much to offer to the person that is willing to take him home. Meet him during our adoption hours noon-4:30.
